MDP: Summer Internship:
The SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM is a very important ingredient of education at different B-Schools. Their aim is to broaden the student's perception by providing an experience to actual and real life organizational and environmental situations. It is an attempt to bridge the gap between the academic institution and the corporate world. The SIP, which would be a replication of real work environment, requires the student intern to feel rigor of professional environment, both in form and in substance.
This MDP is a complete solution of the questions that how they have to prepare for SIP, what they have to do during SIP, what management thesis is, and at last how they have to make presentation.
Duration: 2 days (Daily 4hrs)
Day 1: What is SIP?, Objectives of SIP, Do's, Don'ts, Acquisitions of skills through SIP
Role of Institute, Role of Faculty Guide, Role of Company Guide, Role of Placement manager, Role of Students
Day 2: Thesis Preparation , Presentation.

Dr. Anil Mishra. Ph.D(marketing), MBA (Mktg) and BBA(Hons). Dr, Mishra is working as Prof and HOD in the area of marketing. Prior to this he had work for ASBM Bhubaneswar. He has also taught marketing in ICFAI , Hyderabad . He received youngest Ph.D award in the area of management from ICFAI Hyderabad in Dec. 2005. He has work for Sahara India as Senior Coordinator. Marketing, Advertising, retail and marketing strategies are his area of interest and specialization. He is an author of three books Summer internship Simplified, Customer service in organized retail and marketing strategies in FMCG Sector. Out of which Summer Internship Simplified is one of the most popular book highly recognize by academician and industrial sector. He had attended many seminars and workshops and presented many papers in national and international conferences.
